Saw Beauty And The Beast 3D today! (It finally came out in cinemas here in the UK last week.) Which means I finally, finally got to see the Tangled short! So cuuuuute, and now I want to watch Tangled again! It was so incredible, getting to see the film on the big screen again, even though I had strange, battery-operated 3D glasses and they kept crapping out every time I had to push them back up my nose. They left a pretty impressive red mark - those bastards are heavy! It's amazing how, even after all these years, I can still notice new things, especially with the giant screen highlighting the details. There were facial expressions in the background at the end of the Bonjour number I'd never picked up on, and I never realised at the end, in the final shot where Belle and the Beast/Adam are dancing, just how obviously they've used the Sleeping Beauty dance footage. To the point where you can see it's Philip's face with Beast/Adam's clothes!
Random topic change, but I am completely blown away by the Avengers fandom. Seriously. I've insta-ficced for movies and tv shows before, meaning I've written fic in their first week of release or sometimes even the first day. And I've been lucky enough to have some lovely responses. But I am in awe of how receptive and kind everyone is in the Avengers fandom. I'm blessed that I've been part of some amazingly friendly fandoms (One Piece, Digimon and DCU having introduced me to people that I adore) but the sheer number of people in the Avengers fandom, and how happy they are to interact with and encourage each other, is just. It's just awe inspiring. Maybe it's in part me not having been on AO3 until very recently and LJ slowly growing quiet around me, but the fandom is like a shot of adrenaline to the heart, I swear. I want to write all the fic!
Basically, I LOVE EVERYONE IN THISROOM FANDOM! RAAAARGH!
